Photo Editing Challenge – subject of our March meeting

December 22, 2006

At our March meeting, we’re planning to take poor photos and edit them into good photos right before your eyes! So, send us any bad photos you might have and we’ll see what we can do with them. The best person to send them to is Margaret Maes, our photo editing guru, at pmaes@houston.rr.com. Or, bring them to the meeting at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 17th at 450 Medical Cntr Blvd.

As an example, here’s a really bad photo. Want to try to fix it yourself?

PhotoFest2006 was a great success!

December 22, 2006

We had a big turnout at PhotoFest2006 with probably over 100 photos submitted for viewing. All kinds of photos in all kinds of categories. Hopefully, we’ll repeat this grand event in 2007.

Maurice McNeely, our Spreadsheet/Database instructor,  got a lot of recognition for many of his entries. They were good – composition, lines, mood, contrast, color, … . Thanks to Maurice for his entries. He uses a Nikon D100 for all his work.
